Best Truffles on Earth: La Maison du Chocolat

I’m just one of those lucky people who got to taste this little piece of heaven.

This elusive chocolatier is not available in our country, I think nearest would be to have it shipped to Japan. It is scattered around Europe though. But I would love to have a branch of this here… only if they can sell their chocolates a little cheaper as well… because anything that is packaged in leather never do.

The sophistication of this chocolate only begins in its packaging. The rest was hidden what was inside the box.

Short version: it was very decadent.

Each truffle was covered in dark chocolate powder which was, of course, bitter at first bite. A thin solid coating then suddenly evened out the taste, then the soft chocolate, which has a chewy consistency, somewhere between a solid chocolate and a mousse that tasted nothing but pure goodness, would be tickling your taste buds and would send a message to your brain that you are having one of the most delicious chocolate truffles on earth.

It did not have one bit of sugar, or at least there was no sugar sweetness at all. The chocolate was very smooth in the mouth, overwhelming, but won’t stop me for getting some more. This is officially my favourite truffle on earth! I love it.
